we had second quarter - lesson three in English today. we were discussing about age discrimination. Misssy asked us to give incidents where we like hanging with our friends, and incidents where we like hanging with our folks. she did mention about Gilmore Girls (one of my favorite shows) where the mom was 32 and the daughter was 16. it was the usual discussion about age gap. you approach your peers when you have problems because they are usually the ones who can relate. you approach your folks when you have problems because they are usually the ones who are experienced and can give you better advice.

Misssy: "but wouldn't it be nice if you have an older friend who can relate and at the same give you good advice?"

disparity in ages isn't really a big deal. sometimes it's also good to hear what the other has to say about something. it's usually different with the ones you hear from your peers...so you get to see things from a different perspective.

how can you possibly find "talking" to a person who is 10plusplus years older than you are interesting? er...

oh, parents are important when you're eating out or shopping...coz you don't have to pay! bwahahahaha! ;)
