so what happened again?

Pre-debut Stuff
i had to force myself to sleep on Wednesday night since i didn't get any (well, had 2 hours) of that the previous night. told myself to get up at 3 am to fix the rest of My's pictures...but grrr woke up at 6! and i still did not have any idea as to how the video presentation would go. texted Migs, Tanya, Celeni, Cox and Carmella. asked them if they were free that day, and if they coud help me out with the video. i badly needed great minds!!!

i have the greatest friends!!! i texted them at 8 in the morning, and all of them were willing to help!!! Celeni and Cox met up with me at cotilion practice around 10 am. brainstorm time! then Celeni had to go home, and Cox headed to Ateneo. met up with Carmella, Tanya, and Cox for lunch. Tanya, Carmella and i headed to Carmella's house. Migs came too!!! then Tanya had to go cos she had a date *bummer;p*...and Migs had to go cos she had a date with her mom. Carmella and i panicked with the pictures when the notebook didn't want to turn on. erg. we had to call the editing shop to inform them that we were going to be late.

we were at the editing shop a little before 6. they asked us to start cropping pictures or transferring them from the notebook to their pc. we did it manually...3 pictures per diskette! ack!

Tanya came. Carmella left. it was already 9 pm!

edit edit edit. by 4 am, we were on our way home.

when we got to my place, Tanya wanted to watch the video tapes that My lent me...so we were up til 6 am watching our videos from Baguio retreat and from Chem Magic. i was so restless already.

by 8 am, i was up panicking! i hadn't finished the powerpoint presentation of the "photo gallery" which i promised My since there was no way that i could place all 230 pictures in the video!!!

had to get going by noon. but, grrrr, friggin abdominal pain! had to force myself up from bed. took a bath, fixed the stuff i had to bring with me to the hotel, then rushed to the parlor. met up with tanya. by 3:30pm, we were on our way to Makati Shangri La.

thank you to those people who made the video presentation possible...

Rebie...thank you for letting me use your pc...your scanner and burner. scanning 230 pictures is not a joke, and you made it possible. thank you too for lunch, and for the talk. i had fun. and thank you too for trying your best to make me feel good even if you knew i was feeling really really really terrible. thank you. thank you!!!

Liz...thank you for bringing over the notebook. because of it, i was able to crop the pictures and also make the powerpoint presentation. i aslo used it during the event itself since they did not provide me any computer. thank you so much!!!

Celeni and Cox...thank you for coming very early to school to help me conceptualize the video. thank you!!!

Migs...thank you for coming even if you already had something scheduled with your mom. thank you for helping with the script. thank you! thank you!

Carmella...thank you for letting me use your scanner and burner last tuesday. thank you for letting me use your house while we conceptualize the video last thursday. thank you for always telling me "kaya yan..." every time i say "ayoko na" ...it meant a lot to me, really. thank you for patienty helping me crop the pictures and transfer them manually from the laptop to the pc. thank you for taking care of the video-8 part of the video. thank you for staying as late as your parents would allow you. super super super thank you!!!

Tanya...you know i could have given up by midnight if you were not there. thank you for staying with me at the editing shop til 4am even if you knew your parents would get mad. thank you for writing the script for the video...i knew you were the right person for that part. thank you. super thank you. thank you! everything became manageable because you were there that night. and thank you for taking care of the video during the debut itself. thank you!
