groupie!

i woke up at 6:30 am today to catch Breakfast on Studio 23. it's actually one of my favorite local shows....a story for next time. but i usually wake up around 8:30 (when i have no classes), and by that time the show has ended. erg. so there...woke up early to catch Session Road on the show. Friday is kinda like their "music day" cos they invite artists over yaddayadda. Session Road was the last of the 5 artists for the show...so yeah, i woke up at 6:30 to catch them sing one song at 8am! haha.

the girls and i were planning on going out last night. i wanted to watch Session Road at Xaymaca and thought of dragging them along. but the gig was at 10:30...and it was a last minute plan....so we ended up cancelling it. erg. i told Carmella i'll come with her to an Itchyworms gig if she comes with me to watch Session Road. :P

i did something stupid yesterday. tito noel and i went to tower records to get some new cd's. i wanted a Mojofly album, so i asked the saleslady for it. i was actually surprised that they have it because it's a rare find. so there i was, holding the cd while browsing thru other cd's. we paid for it then left. inside the car, i was trying to check the song selection on the cover and started wondering why i'm not familiar with any of them. *tada* it was the second album! the one they recorded with Kitchie as their lead singer! tsk. ang tanga tanga. i wanted their 3rd album. and the old Mojofly songs i like are not even in the album i bought because they are all in the 1st one. kahit "Another Day" wala! erg. pero okay na rin...it's still Kitchie. maybe i'll just get the 3rd album next week.

planning to get a Kitchie album for Ms. Wada. miss ko na sya!!!

after playing my 2 (3 if you include Mojofly's) new cd's non-stop for the past days, i realized that most of Kitchie's songs are Christian. err...basta! listen to them carefully! ala plumb, jars of clay, yaddayadda... :)

i wanna watch her show tomorrow. Racks El Pueblo. punta tayo!!! :)
