[death] - April 19
Rej's/Mia's death (click to read more) blew me away. no one expected it. i only knew her for a sem, and i must say it was hard for me the first few days after i received the news. i could imagine how much harder it was for the other Zobel people. things will never be the same again. auuugh...thinking about it makes me cry again. she was one of my closest non-MC friend in UP...and now i lost her. i wasn't able to go to Alabang when her ashes were brought back from China because i was out of town. and for a month now, i haven't had contact with any of my other Zobel friends. a part of me wants to just hide away from them just so i won't have to remember all the times we spent with Rej. i miss her so much. :(


[cousins]
the next batch of cousins arrived on April 18. more pasalubong for me!

[70th birthday]
it was my lolo's 70th birthday last April 20...so there was a party at their house. it wasn't really a big one but a lot of people were invited though it was a semi-surprise party. the best part of it? we were COMPLETE! (well, almost. my uncle went to the province that morning..tsk) all 5 daughters were there...plus the 9 grandchildren! fun fun fun! the food was good too. and i made this banner/collage of family pictures and had it printed on tarp. :)


[Tagaytay + beach]
April 22, we were off to spend the weekend out of town til April 24. first stop was Tagaytay. lunch + horseback riding for the kids + Taal volcano! then we were off to Puerto Azul. i never really liked it there...but being with the whole family was fun fun fun! i basically had to baby-sit the little kids when they went swimming. so yeah, ako din yung pinagttripan nilang basa-basain sa pool. erk. but i love them anyway. :) and for the first time, i was able to successfully fly a kite. haha! yey for me!
