two Sundays ago, we went to Greenhills to hear mass and to shop. i told my 7-yr old cousin to make a wish upon entering since it was her first time there, even if it was just a chapel. after the mass, i asked her what she wished for.
"Sana makauwi na si lolo." my lolo has been in Indiana for 10 months now. his visa only allows him to stay there for 6 months, but since he recently got his green card, he can now stay there for good. i knew my aunts are letting him stay there for good, and the next time i can probably see him is when i go there to visit them. so i told Alyssa, "Nyek...asa ka!" my mom and my aunt reacted the same way.
yesterday, my lolo called. he's coming home on November 10!!!
ang sayaaaaa! i miss my lolo!!! :)
and wishes do come true. :)
